An independent first-timer guide

First Time Burner answers the questions people ask before their first burn. It is not run by Burning Man Project. It does not speak for the event, and it does not use the event's logos.

When a number is on this site, a source is next to it. When a number is not published, the page says TBD and links the official place to check. We would rather leave a hole than invent a ticket price.

Burner Supply runs the gear desk this guide links to. Those links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission, and you do not pay extra for that. The disclosure says it again. The editorial policy says how a number gets onto a page, and how a TBD stays a TBD.

The privacy page covers the quiz and the email form. The form still does not send your address anywhere.
