How to prepare for Burning Man the first time

Now through February
Make a Burner Profile, sketch a budget that is yours, and if you are flying in from abroad start an ESTA. The ESTA fee is TBD — check the official ESTA site. The old first-timers URL just drops you on the general city page, which is where preparation links live. Burning Man first-timers URL

Spring

Summer

Order the bulky Amazon pieces so a Reno locker, counter, or hotel hold still has them when you land. The steps are Amazon to Reno. If the bed is a rig, the mistakes and the booking clock are RV for your first burn.
